Introducing Batch Connect Machines

We're excited to release a new feature aimed at helping manufacturers connect their equipment faster than ever before. Batch Connect is designed to streamline and expedite the machine connectivity process, leveraging machine learning and a suite of advanced technologies.

Once a CSV of equipment information has been uploaded, MachineMetrics then intelligently scans each machine using the IP addresses provided to determine the most effective way to establish a connection. It identifies the type of controls each machine has and decides on the best method to connect, whether directly or through manual steps in the case of an OPC UA connection.

One of the most significant advantages of this new feature is its ability to conduct these operations in batch mode, connecting multiple machines in parallel. What's also helpful is that MachineMetrics quickly identifies any issues that might prevent a successful connection, such as issues with the network or firewall configurations. This allows for immediate troubleshooting, ensuring that the majority of machines can be connected without delay.
